Vote Velda-Delaware State Treasurer

As Delaware's Treasurer, Mrs. Jones-Potter serves as co-chairperson of the State of Delaware Deferred Compensation Council. She also serves on the Strategic Economic Development Council, the Delaware Board of Pardons, the Delaware Economic and Financial Advisory Council (DEFAC), the Delaware Agricultural Lands Preservation Foundation, the State Employees Benefit Committee (SEBC), and the Delaware Cash Management Policy Board. She has enjoyed the challenges, the successes and the rewards that have greeted her in her role as Treasurer. In her short tenure she has ensured that the Office maintains the highest standards of financial management and operational efficiency. She has been a leader in supporting Delaware’s financial institutions.
