The Redding Gallery in the Louis L. Redding City/County Building presents Life of a Hip Hop Photographer, by Andre’ Wright, Jr. for the month of March. The photographs in this exhibit include vibrant images of influential people in the music industry such as Kanye West, Freeway, Common and more.
As an inspired filmmaker, Wright took his film ideologies and adapted those visions into still-images. Wright traveled the world as a child which afforded him the opportunity to capture some of the most beautiful parts of the world from Germany, France, and the United States. Now a resident of Delaware, Wright continues to incorporate his unique experiences into film-making and photography as well as his brand, Color of Life, both here in Delaware and New York City.
Join us for an opening reception to meet the artist during Art on the Town this Friday, March 2 from 5:30 to 8 PM in the lobby of the Louis L. Redding City/County Building. The artist collective, Brooklyn 35, will perform from 6 – 8 PM. Brooklyn 35 is a collaborative effort of many musicians working in Brooklyn, New York. The performance on Friday will include vocalist Dana Athens and the DJ Tough Dumplin.
